HomeSharing, Central New Jersey's affordable shared housing program, will be holding its second annual Designer Handbag Bingo on March 8 at the Somerville Elks Lodge, 375 Union Avenue, Bridgewater.

A wide array of handbags from internationally known designers will be the prizes during this entertaining evening.  The handbags appearing on this page will be the winning items for the 10 games.

"The handbags are simply awesome," said Renee Drell, executive director of HomeSharing.  "It's a fun and exciting event for a good cause."

Doors for Designer Handbag Bingo will open at 6 pm, with a cold buffet at 6:45 pm.  The bingo games start at 7:30 pm.

Cost of the event, which includes the buffet and 10 bingo cards, is $35 in advance, $40 at the door.  Additional bingo cards will be available for purchase.  The evening will also feature a tricky tray and a 50/50 raffle.  A cash bar will be available.

Reservations for tables of eight will be available.

HomeSharing prevents homelessness by matching "providers," residents who need to share their homes or apartments in order to keep them, with "seekers," individuals searching for affordable housing in their communities.

HomeSharing is also committed to assisting its clients in locating and utilizing other resources such as the Food Bank, low-cost medical care, and other support services.  The organization's services are provided free of charge.
